Fishtankart is a handmade ceramic brand by Jing Yu, a Sydney-based artist originally from China. With a background in filmmaking, Jing brings a sense of visual storytelling to her work, designing and crafting every piece herself.
The name Fishtankart comes from Jing’s two beloved cats—a playful nod to her Chinese family name, which means “fish.”
While ceramics are at the heart of her work, Jing also enjoys exploring other creative disciplines such as painting, knitting, needle felting, and more—each made with care, warmth, and a touch of whimsy.
